A vision about the time before Jesus' return

Introduction
A woman in Etnedal, Valdres had a vision in 1968 that dealt with the future, the return of Jesus, the third world war and the time that would precede this war. The well-known preacher Emanuel Minos told a meeting in Malmö about this vision.

"I had a calling to visit a valley in Norway called Valdres and it was the state church that invited me. I visited one Lutheran church after another and then I came to one in Valdres and there was an old woman. It was 1968, note the year. She was 90 years old at the time but completely clear.

When the meeting was over she came to me and said this: 'I have seen a vision, I have seen when the time before Jesus' return is and what will happen, and when the third world war will break out. Do you want to write it down?' I wrote it down in four sections. When I had written it down and looked at it, I said to myself: This cannot be read out in a public assembly, it cannot be done. So I put it in my drawer and there it has been for all these years and has turned yellow.

So I will tidy up, throw away old things. You know how it is, when you have collected things for many years and I found it after many years, not too long ago (1993), and I read it again and I am amazed. The years have passed, but I am amazed. I asked in church: 'This woman, what kind of woman is she? Oh, she is reliable, she is not swarthy,' they said, 'she is not that super-spiritual. She is extremely reliable.' She told me: 'I have never seen a vision before, this is the only vision I have had and the only message I have received in this way'. Here is the vision that the 90-year-old woman told Emanuel Minos in 1968:

Peace and Disarmament

"I saw the world as a map that was rolled up before me. I saw Europe - country by country. I saw Scandinavia and I saw Norway. I saw certain things that would happen just before Jesus returns (and the time of the church is over) and just before the great calamity breaks out upon the people. A calamity the like of which we have never experienced before.

Before Jesus returns and the third world war breaks out, there will be a time of détente that we have never had before. There will be peace, and the peace will last a long time. During that period of peace there will be disarmament in many countries, including Norway. The Third World War will start in a way that no one expected and from an unexpected direction, and we are as unprepared as we were on April 9, 1940.".

Tepidity and Apostasy in Christendom

"I saw that there is coming an unprecedented lukewarmness among Christians. An apostasy from true and living Christianity. Christians will not be open to searching preaching in the time before Jesus returns. They will not listen to sin and grace, law and gospel, repentance and repentance. Instead, there will be another kind of preaching, a kind of happiness Christianity. It is about being successful and reaching. It is about material things, in a way that God never promised. Churches, free churches and houses of prayer are becoming more and more empty. Instead of a preaching about taking up your cross and following Jesus, there will be entertainment, art and culture, where there should be revival, need and conversion meetings. This will happen to a large extent just before Jesus returns and the disaster breaks loose upon us."

Moral dissolution in society

"There will be a moral dissolution that Norway has never seen before. People will live as if they were married without being married. There will be great impurity before marriage and there will be a lot of infidelity in marriages. Yes, even in Christian marriages infidelity will make itself felt and they will be dissolved. Perverse sins, sins against nature, will also begin to spread, and they will even be accepted in Christian circles. Just before Jesus returns, TV programs will be shown that we have never experienced before. TV will be filled with violence so terrible that it will teach people to murder and kill each other, and it will be unsafe to walk the streets. People will follow what they see and there will not only be one selection on TV, but lots of selection. It will be just like we have on the radio. We will be able to turn on one program after another, and it will be filled with violence and people will have this as entertainment. The worst imaginable scenes of murder and violence against each other will be shown and this will spread in society. There will be scenes of sexual intercourse. The most intimate things that happen in a marriage will be shown on the screen. It will happen and you (addressed to Emanuel Minos) will see it fulfilled. Laws that we now have will be broken down and the most immoral things will be shown right before our eyes."

Immigration and the Third World War

"People from poor countries will stream into Europe. They will also come to Scandinavia and Norway. People will dislike them being here and will be harsh on them. They will be treated more and more as the Jews were before the war. Then the measure of our sins will be reached. This will happen just before Jesus returns - and the Third World War will break out.

The war will first start as a small conflict, an insignificant conflict. But it will not end. It will increase and spread. Finally it will develop into a big war. Towards the end of the big war, terrible weapons will be used, including atomic weapons. Air, soil and water will be poisoned and destroyed. The air will become so polluted that it will be impossible to breathe it, and it will affect several continents, America, Europe, Japan, Australia - the rich countries.

The water will be destroyed. We will not be able to farm the land there. The result will be that a small remnant will remain. Those who remain in the rich countries will try to flee to the poorest countries, which are not damaged, but they will treat us as we have treated them and will not be so willing to receive. I am glad that I will not experience this, but when the time approaches, you must take courage and travel around and warn and tell the people what I have seen."
